Refund Policy

The Epilepsy Centre is keen to ensure members of the community receive a refund when an error or fault has been made by The Epilepsy Centre.

 

If an error is made, the purchaser must contact The Epilepsy Centre within 30 days of making the donation/purchase. The request for a refund must be made in writing and can be sent to The Epilepsy Centre by:

To be included in the written notification, we require:

1. The details of the purchase or donation
2. The details of the error
3. The date of the purchase
4. The amount of the purchase
5. The name of the person who made the purchase

The Epilepsy Centre is under no obligation to refund the purchase of a lottery ticket, if you have simply changed your mind, or if it was not a winning ticket.

 

The Epilepsy Centre will refund a lottery ticket if there was a genuine processing error or the ticket number was not included in the lottery draw. The Epilepsy Centre is under no obligation to refund the purchasing of goods and/or event tickets, if you have simply changed your mind or are unable to attend, however The Epilepsy Centre will provide a refund or exchange if the goods are faulty, or in the case of an event if it is postponed or cancelled.

 

The Epilepsy Centre reserves the right to deduct from any refund all bank and transaction charges as a result of The Epilepsy Centre processing the refund, if the error was not made by The Epilepsy Centre. The Epilepsy Centre will not deduct any charges if the error was made by The Epilepsy Centre.

 

The Epilepsy Centre will not consider any requests for refunds that are received after 30 days of initial purchase.

Refunds are accepted at the discretion of The Epilepsy Centre only. By making a purchase of any kind through our website you agree to opt-in to all future communications from The Epilepsy Centre and you agree to any transactions or personal details being collected and processed.

By purchasing a lottery ticket you agree that you are over 18 years of age and have read and understand the responsible gambling code of conduct. The Epilepsy Centre assumes no responsibility for any persons choice to partake in The Epilepsy Centre lotteries if experiencing financial hardship. No refunds will be accepted after the draw date.

Unclaimed Prizes

We endeavor to reach prize winners using any means necessary to notify of winning ticket numbers. In the event of a prize winner not claiming their prize, we will retain said prize for 3 months. After this time The Epilepsy Centre will allocate the total amount for the approved purposes for which the major lottery was conducted.
